Allianz Travel Insurance offers a range of senior-friendly plans. Our plans provide cover for travellers of all ages.

Just like anyone thinking about travel insurance, when you purchase a policy, you will choose your travel destinations and how long you’ll stay. You’ll also need to enter your age and declare any pre-existing medical conditions as part of this process.

We have no age limits on our plans, however eligibility criteria and other conditions may apply, such as pre-existing medical conditions.

If you are considering purchasing a  Snow Pack or Adventure Pack – age restrictions apply. You must be under 75 years at the time your Certificate of Insurance is issued.

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, make sure you tell us. When buying online, select ‘Yes” to get coverage for your pre-existing medical condition. This will take you through the online medical assessment process.

Some pre-existing medical conditions may be covered by Allianz Travel Insurance at no additional cost, subject to written acceptance.

To find out what a pre-existing medical condition is, read the  Policy Wording.

The cost of travel insurance will depend on several factors. These include the length of your trip, your age and your destination(s). If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, these could also vary the cost of your insurance policy. For more information on how your insurance premium is calculated, please read the  Policy Wording.

Yes, some of our plans provide cover for your items - however item limits can apply, which can include hearing aids or false teeth. If your items are worth more than our item limits, you can apply for increased item limits cover for those items.
